Composer and arranger Christopher Boscole plays piano, keyboards, and soprano  sax.  
He has produced 14 albums that cross over in a variety of genres and formats - original piano solos in improvisational, new age , folk, pop, and classical styles, jazz piano trio and sextet, contemporary instrumental jazz ensembles with synthesizers and vocals, and latest upcoming release “Time for Love” - classic love songs featuring vocals, sax, and guitar. Boscole's music has seen years of long term charting top 10 airplay on new age radio, Sirius, Pandora, Spotify,  Musak, I tunes, You tube, and other formats.   He grew up in a musical household as his mother was a singer and piano  teacher.   After learning music basics from his mother,  he studied classical piano for years with Mikiko Miyamoto, winning honors at adjudications.   Christopher studied saxophone with Bill Wicker and played sax and piano  in school jazz groups  and later  rock n roll as he worked for years as a pianist and keyboardist with a variety of artists/bands in Seattle including  Diane Schuur,  Phil Sheeran,  Michael Powers,  Jay Thomas,  Top 40 Bands - Modern Dance, Yankee, and Impala USO Air Force show tour.   In the meantime he pursued music theory studies at Edmonds Community College with Al Galanti,  also an amazing jazz guitarist,  who taught the jazz improv lab where Boscole played the fender rhodes .   Christopher later hired Al to join his own jazz group Affinity for gigs at the Everett Jazz club “The Pines” where many historic live jams occurred.    Boscole  performed with the Soundsation Vocal Jazz group directed by Frank DeMiero and recorded the album “Dedication (1983)” that included several featured piano/keyboard solos.  

Later at the University of Washington,  Christopher studied music composition and jazz combo  with Bill Smith,  performed with the vocal jazz group and recorded an album with the Studio Jazz Band 1984 under Roy Cummings and earned a Bachelor of Arts in Music - Classical Piano in 1986.   Several months later Boscole signed with Centaur/Nebula Records and flew to New Orleans to record “Shimmer” Original Piano Solos.   

For the next year Christopher worked on producing the studio album  September Song 1987 - Original Contemporary Instrumental Jazz  released by ITI/Allegiance and distributed by Capitol Records .   Boscole's song  “The Journey” also features Michael Powers on guitar.

During this time Christopher continued working with Nebula as Vice-President of Artist, Repertoire, and Distribution - bringing other artists to the young growing label and soliciting better distribution deals.   With his records and cd's in stores nationwide, Boscole was awarded a scholarship  and graduate teaching position at the University of Miami where he continued advanced studies in jazz piano with Vince Maggio,  jazz composition with Ron Miller, and earned a Master of Music in Studio Music and Jazz Piano Performance while also honing his teaching skills.   After returning to Seattle area Christopher produced “Land of Music ” 1992 Nebula Records- Contemporary Jazz featuring Greta Matassa on vocals .   

Boscole also recorded the same year “O Christmas Tree” Centaur Records- Xmas theme piano solos and originals.   The title track reflects the influences of  Keith Jarrett .  

The next year Christopher took a different direction and produced  “Natural Instincts” 1993- Acoustic Instrumental Jazz - standards and originals featuring piano trio and adding horns on 4 tracks featuring Denney Goodhew - alto saxophone,  Jay Thomas  - trumpet and tenor saxophone,  and Gary Shutes -  trombone .    “Tone Poem” by Boscole with horns:

For many  following years Boscole focused on raising a family while working as a music teacher by day and musician by night.    He  took a sabbatical and sailed to Hawaii and released the original solo piano albums “Presents of Angels” 2008.   The video features scenes of the famous Napali coast hike that Christopher explored on 1st voyage to Kauai. 

Boscole recorded  “Inner Voyages” 2010 on Maui , where he also produced a multi media concert at the Performing Arts Center,  sharing scenes of voyages at sea and Hawaii. 

After sailing back to Seattle Christopher spent several years practicing and recording the original piano solos  “Floating on a Melody”  2012 .    

In 2013 Boscole sailed back to Hawaii and released  “New Age of Classical Piano” 2014.   

This was followed by the happy go lucky original piano solos of “Skipping on Daisies” 2016

The next year Christopher produced the more introspective “Soul Dreams” 2017.  

In 2019 Christopher released “Dawn of Love"  a collection of piano solos featuring originals and  arrangements of classic love themes.
