Christopher learned piano tuning when attending Edmonds Community College from their music department tuner Joe Laird and apprenticed in a local music store but his musical path later pursued performing and teaching. When he moved to Hawaii he learned the finer points of piano tuning from Mike Toia - a highly regarded Steinway trained tuner. Christopher has for many years since been tuning piano as heard on his recordings.
